Easements as Pollinator Habitat
My research seeks to understand the most efficient ways to manage the vegetation underneath powerlines to meet the needs of power companies while also providing valuable habitat for native bees. This may include what the industry terms Integrated Vegetation Management as well as control of low-benefit invasive species, targeted seeding and planting of plugs as needed.
